Local Lust: Beneath the Sun

Good evening lovelies, I hope you've all had a great Wednesday :)

So it seems I'm struggling to find words this eve... and I think I'm going to blame 'Words with Friends' - that blasted game has stolen all my good words!
Oooorrrrr... maybe I simply can't find enough adjectives to describe the gorgeousness that is Beneath the Sun? (this is a much more likely reason...)

Every single thing that Leah Bartholomew creates for her collection is just so damn great that I had trouble choosing only one item to lust after... But these awesome ornamental woodys spoke to the aspiring florist within, and I simply couldn't resist the urge to share.

You should reeaally follow this link and check the rest of her collection out, it's all so beautifully designed!

Sunday Sounds: Cheers Elephant

Happy Sundaayyy! I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend.

Now get your ears around the boppy sounds of these guys, it'll be an enjoyable for us all if you do :)

Today I made:

This!

... and this!

... aaand this!

Yep, multiple arrangements with multiple flowers! It was plenty o' fun.

It's my Grandmother's 89th birthday today, so with thanks to my mother and her place of work, I was able to get my hands on some pretty sweet flowers to put together for her. On top of this, she also brought home some small bunches that were destined to be thrown out, so I played with them and tried to make them look a little bit nicer, not sure how well I did, but it's alll practice... Either way, it was a pretty great way to spend a Friday!

Smonday Sounds: Haim

Hey heyyy! It's me here guys, the number one slacker who hasn't been keeping up with her weekly posts... I'm not going to even bother with excuses, not because I'm that lazy, but because I know you don't want to hear them :)

I hope you all had a lovely weekend and Happy St Patrick's Day! I got to spend some brief time at the beach which made for a very welcome change. Sunshine is the best.

Anyway, enough of my babbling, this week I'm sharing a song by Haim, another band that I've been a bit behind on, although that's not an unusual fact... They are super cool gals with super fun tunes, I highly recommend them!

In other news: Daisy See has now reached 200 likes on Facebook! Thank you to all of you that share the love, it's so greatly appreciated, and I do promise that 2013 will bring a new venture, it's all just a matter of time...

Today I made:

This!

It's definitely not my favourite but it proves that not being able to choose your materials is a test worth trying :)
Happy Monday lovelies!

Sunday Sounds: Kids of 88

Guys! So it's been a few Sundays since I've shared some sounds... what can I say? I'm a busy gal.

Anyway, this one is a downright gem, because it talks about moving to San Francisco as well as Full House. Two of my favourite things. You should listen to these guys, they're kinda fun!

Local Lust: K is for Kani

Wow, so it seems to be a regular occurrence these days for me to skip a week here and there... what is up with that? Not cool!

Well I followed through this week friends! Check out this goodness.

The entire K is for Kani etsy store is filled with the most delightful headwear, and after a quick browse (read: an entire evening of drooling) my follicles are simply hyperventilating with excitement. For someone such as myself, the floral overload is an absolute treat for the eyes. Perfect to ward away any potential darkness when winter comes to town.

I hope you've all survived the middle day of the week, sweet dreams!
